Your team runs the walk-in queue from the queue page in the portal and in the Barberly business app, on a phone or on a tablet at the front desk.
Today at a glance#
The top of the page shows how many are in the queue now, the average wait and how many clients were served today. Below are three columns: waiting, in service and completed.
What your team can do#
- Add a walk-in by hand: search the client base by name, phone or email, or create a new client.
- Assign or change the barber.
- Call for service. The queue screen on the TV updates at once. In the same step you choose whether to also send an email or an SMS to the client; the channels the client subscribed to from the ticket are already selected. There is no free text to type.
- Start the service, complete it, or return the client to waiting.
- Remove from the queue when a client has left.
- Go to checkout to take the payment in the Barberly app.
Timed check-ins#
A client who checked in with a time is a normal appointment in the calendar, marked as a walk-in. It appears on the appointment board in the barber's row like any other booking.
