A percentage discount bonus takes a percentage off a client's services when they have enough points. It is one of the three reward types in Reward bonuses.
How it works#
Clients earn points from completed appointments (1 point = 1 currency unit). You can create several discounts with different point thresholds, so clients with more points get a higher percentage.
Set up a percentage discount#
- Make sure the loyalty program is active.
- In the rewards settings, choose Percentage Discounts as the reward type.
- Set the discount percentage for each point threshold.
- Choose whether points are deducted on redemption.
- Save and publish the reward.
For tiered discounts, leave point deduction off so clients keep their level. The discount can apply to all services or to specific categories. All other settings are described in Reward bonuses.
Examples#
Tiers#
- 50 points = 5% discount
- 100 points = 10% discount
- 250 points = 15% discount
- 500 points = 20% discount
Tiers without point deduction#
With point deduction off, the client keeps the discount as long as they keep the balance:
- 200+ points: 10% off services
- 500+ points: 15% off services
- 1000+ points: 20% off services
One service category#
75 points = 15% off color services.
